Step into the dusty green boots of Luigi, and make your own path through a broken kingdom full of secrets, betrayal, and very bad mushrooms.

🎮 ABOUT THE GAME:

Luigi’s Rebellion is a text-only, choice-driven adventure game made in Twine.

This is not a platformer.
There are no jumps, power-ups, or 1UPs here.
Just you, your flashlight, and choices that spiral into something much stranger.

  • 🔀 Dozens of branching paths and decisions

  • 🧩 Secrets to find, characters to unlock, and... things to hug (or not)

  • 🧵 Multiple endings (some good, some cursed, some… hard to explain)

Luigi’s Rebellion is a downloadable, text-based game built in Twine.
You’ll play it by opening a file on your own computer — no internet or installation needed after download.

    You’ll get a file named something like:
    luigis-rebellion.html

  2. Find the file in your Downloads folder (or wherever you saved it)

  3. Right-click the file, then choose:
    ▶️ “Open with” → Your web browser
    (Use Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari — they all work!)

  4. The game will launch in your browser window as a full interactive story.
    Just click through to make choices and explore your path.

🔁 Replay Tips:

  • The story changes based on your decisions — try different paths to unlock new endings

  • If you want to mark your place, you can bookmark the page or leave it open in a tab

  • You can play offline once it’s downloaded

💡 Requirements:

  • Works on any modern desktop browser
